Sale of Age Restricted Goods Policy
How we verify age and deliver knives and other bladed products safely.
You must be aged 18 or over
Under the Criminal Justice Act 1988, we can only sell knives and bladed products to people aged 18 or over.
Our age-verification policy
As a cookware and kitchenware retailer, we offer a number of bladed products whose sale is restricted to people aged 18 or over. We take our responsibility for age verification seriously and apply the following requirements to every affected order.
- Orders containing bladed products are sent using an adult-signature-required delivery service.
- The courier may ask for proof of identification before handing over the parcel.
- If suitable identification cannot be provided, or the recipient is under 18, delivery will be refused and the item returned to us.
- Bladed products cannot be left in a safe place. Any request to leave the parcel unattended will be ignored.
Receiving your order
Please make sure an adult aged 18 or over is available to receive the parcel and can provide identification if requested. This helps prevent a refused delivery and the order being returned to us.
