With proper care your knives can last a lifetime. While they are dishwasher safe, hand washing is recommended. The blades may be nicked if knocked against other objects during the wash cycle. Hand wash knives separately from other utensils or dishes. Wipe blade clean with damp cloth and mild soap. Dry completely from the back of the knife to the cutting edge, not from the handle to the tip. The steel blade may tarnish if acidic foods are not wiped off after slicing. If this occurs use a non-abrasive metal polish to remove the stain.

Remember, knives are very sharp and can cut easily. Handle knives with extreme care. Never try to catch a falling knife and never cover it with towels or other objects.
