Portmeirion’s porcelain products are made from the highest quality materials and are extremely strong and hard-wearing. As with all Portmeirion’s products, they are designed for modern day living.
Every piece is so strong they go from fully frozen directly into the roasting temperature of your oven (providing the dish is not empty) and then straight on to your table. Maximum conventional oven temperature 200°C / 400°F / UK Gas Mark 6.
All Portmeirion ceramicware is easy to clean either by hand using conventional hand-wash detergents or by using a dishwasher.
Portmeirion’s porcelain ware can be used in the microwave, but take care as the surfaces of the ware may become hot. In line with microwave oven manufacturers it is recommended that Portmeirion ceramic products should only be used in a microwave oven when they contain food or liquids.
Microwave ovens should not be used to 'warm' empty ceramicware items.
