Care & Use
Denby can be safely used for cooking food in a microwave (it is not recommended that the microwave is used for warming plates), oven and for use in the fridge, freezer and dishwasher. Denby recommends using low temperatures and liquid detergents in your dishwasher. All pottery and china can crack if exposed to sudden changes in temperature, no matter how strong it is, so please don't take items from the freezer and put them straight into the oven or microwave, or expose to direct heat sources such as the hob or grill.
Take care when stacking and handling as scratches are more visible on coloured glazes.

I tend to prefer a finer bone china and thought these would be too thick and chunky and lose the heat of the drink I like my drinks hot. In fact they retain the heat better than any other mugs we have and are our preferred mugs. Lovely to use and deep glaze is nice. Only disappointment was we broke the lid of the matching teapot as soon as it arrived my fault and Just Denby were disappointly unhelpful the quoted charge for the lid alone was more that the cost of the teapot. So full marks for product and sadly a raspberry for service.
